From Worshipful Master Jim Wild PM
February was a short month, but not short on excitement. We had more Grand Lodge representatives at our stated meeting than at any time in recent memory. Our Senior Deacon WB Charles Barnes must have worn out his shoes introducing them all.
We may not have that kind of excitement in March, but we will have a very busy month. We have several degrees to confer, and if you are interested in taking part in any of these degrees please let your wishes be known. There are many different parts needed to put on a degree. You don't always have to memorize something to be part on a degree team. There are no speaking parts as well as parts that require memorization. All you have to do is let your Sr. Warden know what you would like to do, and he will put you on the schedule.
We still could use your help with the Candidate Education classes. Contact WB Henry Spomer if you can help. He will let you know when the next class will be. You might be surprised what you can learn about Masonry from these classes. If you can read, you can take part in these classes. It really is just that easy.
Don't forget the dinner before the stated meeting March 5th. Family members are all welcome. We always have good fellowship and lots of fun. And the ladies always cook up a fine meal that will fill you up. You could also win in our 50-50 drawing.
Don't forget to check our website for Lodge news and events. Come out and take part in as many of the activities as you can. You will enjoy yourself. See you at dinner and the stated meeting on the 5th.
Words To Live By: Wisdom is the reward you get for a lifetime of listening when you would have preferred to talk.

Worshipful Master, I would like to speak to you as I realize many other Lodge Brothers would like this chance. You have lead your lodge in a positive direction during these troubled times for our fraternity. You allow a discussion, both pro and con, related to use or abuse of OUR Arizona Masonic Code.
That document was written and published by the authority of ALL Masons in Arizona with duties and limitations for ALL its members. Your Lodge exercised its duties by voting its conscience and now we all are relieved until the next actions or inactions. I must say that both my conscience and heavy heart are at ease now.
To a happy note: It was very good to see new faces at our last stated meeting, some from having been away for medical and other reasons. I must say Welcome, Again! to those who broke the bonds and returned HOME to your lodge. I encourage others to do the same as soon as you are able to do so.
I would also ask that if you are staying at home due to a need for some assistance like a ride or another reason to please give me a call (393-0708) so we can assist you in coming to lodge for any Meeting. If you have been away for six months or more and can make it, just tell the dinner ticket person at Stated Meeting that you are MY GUEST and your meal is FREE ! !
If the Stated Meeting is not your cup of tea (so to speak) please check the lodge web site for our work schedule and come out then.
On March 4th, WB Spomer, WB/WP Frank Barnes, BR Alfred Curtin III and I attended a Birthday Celebration for WB Calvin Schlit.

We miss you ! !

Coming to Lodge and participating in its work is an enriching experience. We have candidates to initiate, pass, and raise in the coming months and I ask brethren who have not attended Lodge recently to come and help carry this work forward.
You were enthusiastic about Masonry when you first joined. You would not have spent the time and effort on your own journey through Masonry or spent the time and energy to attend Lodge meetings and memorize the ritual if you had not been excited about it. We need that enthusiasm from all Brethren again at Marion McDaniel and I hope to see it reemerge.
We have worthwhile and exciting things to do this year and I look forward to seeing YOU be a part of it.
Remember, YOU Are The Lodge - Bring It Back!
