Do you regret not attending your class reunions? Have you lost touch with your friends from the old neighborhood? Don't know where those relatives are anymore who live in another state? You told those classmates when you graduated you would keep in touch. Those friends from the old neighborhood you promised you would visit from time to time. The relatives you were so close to at one time you have no idea how to get hold of them.
As time goes by we lose contact with friends and family because we just don't take time to keep in touch. With your busy schedule it just wasn't important enough at the time, and now you have lost total contact.
This is not true with YOUR Masonic Lodge. We are still at the same place. We still meet on Monday evenings. We are still the same friendly group as we were the last time you were here. There may be some new names and faces, but you will still be greeted in the same Brotherly way. You paid your dues, so you are entitled to be part of the activities of YOUR Lodge. We have been waiting for you to show up and be part of the fun and fellowship. Maybe you have forgotten what you need to do to sit in Lodge. Not a problem. Just a few friendly reminders and you are in. You will be surprised how quickly it will all come back to you. All you need to do is ask and it will be opened to you.
Don't regret that you lost touch with your Masonic Brothers. Don't be one of those who in later life says I wish I had kept in touch with my Lodge and the Brothers. It's not too late to be a part of your Lodge and it's activities. All you have to do is show up. It is really just that easy.
I look forward to seeing you at Lodge.
Congratulations go out to Brother Jay Allen who completed Part 1 of the Scottish Rite Master Craftsman Program. This is a correspondence course administered by the House of the Temple in D.C. It took BR Jay four months to complete the study and tests. BR Jay said he received invaluable Masonic education.

My Brothers, your LODGE has been very busy during the month of March. If you were fortunate enough to have been in attendance you are sure to have enjoyed one of the degree conferrals. If not, we encourage you to come out, join us by asking for a position in the degree conferral process. If that is not your cup of tea, just sit on the side line and enjoy the fruit of other’s labor. Who knows, you may have a chance to meet a Brother whom you have not seen for a spell and have some catching up to be done.
Membership and Brotherly Love can be contagious and is most evident as we await the hour of Masonic labor.
If you are more interested in degree education, then contact WB Spomer to learn the time and date for the next session.
As new members complete the degree conferral, they are asked to participate in this program. Older members who help put the program on learn things and enjoy it very much. You may also.
We all would love to hear from you especially if there is something a Brother can do to help you return to regular attendance of YOUR lodge. For those who faithfully attend and support the degree conferrals, we applaud you for a job well done.
Please remember the SW's Stated Meeting dinner pledge!!

Brethren, this month I bring you greetings from Oscar-winning star BR Ernest Borgnine. He was a featured guest at the Scottish Rite Leadership Conference early in March. I introduced myself and told him I was Junior Warden at Marion McDaniel Lodge where John Wayne was made a Mason. Borgnine and the Duke were fast friends.
He was thrilled to make that connection with a long-lost Brother's lodge and urged me to "Say a fond hello to the boys!" Borgnine is now 95 years old and, as has always been the case, he does not hesitate to show up when Masonry calls. When asked if he could fit an appearance into his still busy schedule he replied, "Tell me when and where and I will be there".
We can all take a lesson from "Brother Ernie". Even at 95, he continues to support Freemasonry with an energy younger men would envy and would do well to emulate. This month there is much to do at lodge. Give it your energy… and your attention, just as our distinguished Brother Borgnine does.
Remember, YOU Are The Lodge - Bring It Back!
